Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking Route:

Ghorepani Poon Hill trek Route is short and easy to reach the final destination of your trek. This trek start short scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and walk along the Modi Khola river side, then we cross the bridge and passes the delightful villages of Hile, Tikhedunga, and cross the suspension bridge then we have to ascending 3,000 stone steps to reach the to Ulleri, it will be bit difficulty. From there the trail leads us through the beautiful colorful pine and rhododendrons forests and farmlands with enjoying the picturesque views, then we reach to Nanghethati, we have lunch break there, then after we trek continue to Ghorepani Village we will stay overnight at Lodge.

The next day, early in the morning, you will hike to the main viewpoint of Poon Hill (3210meters), it will offers the white snow-capped mountains and sunrise view from the top, over the Magical Views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukche Peak, Nilgiri Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiuchul and Fishtail etc.

After you enjoy with the views, then trek back down to Ghorepani and trek continue to ascending Deaurli then after, you descending to Banthanti, Tadapani village and Ghandruk village, where you can explore the Museum of Gurungs, Ancients Buddhist monastery and school, also you will able to see the mountains views of Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchhare and Gangapurna etc.

 Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m/4,429feet).

Our company staff will come to pick up you at Tribhuvan international airport, our guide will be stand up your name on with paper it will be easy to know each other,  at the airport terminal gate. He will take you at your hotel by car or van depends on the group size.

Day 02: Kathmandu to pokhara 200km (830meters/2,723feet).

Driving hours: 7/8 hrs approx

Our Local trekking guide will be picked up you at your hotel to bus station, a scenic drive through the Prithivi highway from Kathmandu to pokhara, it takes 7/8 hours approximately by tourist bus. Pokhara is one of the 2nd biggest cities of Nepal and it is so beautiful and clean city, you will have leisure time to visit pokhara overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Pokhara – nayapul - thikhedunga (1570meters/5,150feet)

Walking hours: 3/4 hrs approx

After enjoying our breakfast, an exhilarating trek to Annapurna Base camp journey begins a beautiful short and sweet drive from pokhara to Nayapul which is main trekking starting and ending point of the trek. From there, we trek towards Tikhedunga by passing through the delightful farmlands, terrace fields and an amazing village of Birethanti, Ramghai, Hile and Tikhedunga. Today will be short and easy hike that provides a magnificent views of the Himalayas sceneries overnight at Lodge. 

Day 04: Thikhedhunga – Ulleri – Ghorepani (2830meters/9,284feet).

Walking hours: 6/7 hrs approx

Today our journey will be more exciting, first we will cross the suspension bridge, after then we will ascending to Ulleri village, Banthati and passing through the beautiful wide landscape, lush green forest where you can see some wild animals and so many different kinds of birds, before you reach to the Ghorepani. You will enjoy with nature overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Ghorepani – Banthanti - Tadapani (2645m/8,677feet).

Walking hours: 6/7 hrs approx

Region: Annapurna Region

Early morning, we will hike up to Poon Hill (3210meters/10,531feet) it takes around 45 minutes or 1 hour from Ghorepani. The Poon Hill is one of the most famous in the Annapurna Himalayas region. From the poon Hill, if the blue sky then you will be able to see the spectacular panorama views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Tukche Peak, Nilgiri Himal, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhare and Hiuchuli and many more white snow-capped. The Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri Himal is major mountains above eight thousand meters high above from the sea level. After we enjoyed with the view we back to hotel and we will have breakfast, then we trek continue to ascending to Deaurali trek down to Banthanti, crossing the small bridge and reach to Tadapani Village overnight at Lodge.

Day 06: Tadapani - Ghandruk Village village (1980meters/6,496feet).

Walking hours: 3 hrs approx

Region: Annapurna Region

After the Breakfast, we will start our short day to Ghandruk village, from tadapani, we trek down hill to passes the beautiful pine and rhododendron forest and reach to Ghandruk village, where we can explore the delighful village and anicent Buddhist monastery and Gurung Muesum then back to Hotel, we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Ghandruk Village - Nayapul - Pokhara (830meters/2,723feet).

Walking hours: 3/4 hrs approx

Region: Annapurna Region

Early morning we will take a breakfast, then after we start our trek to descending passes Kimche Village, Shyauli Bazzar and we will follow the bank of Modi Khola river and reach to Birethanti, Nayapul, we will take a taxti to Pokhara, we will stay overnight at Hotel.
