Rupina La High Pass trek:

 

Rupina La High Pass trek is located in the Manaslu region trekking of Nepal. Rupina La trek is an off the beaten trail trek route northwest of Nepal. Rupina La is a banned and unbeaten trail of Manaslu, which was Nepal Government, opened to tourists in 1991 AD.

 

In this valley is an exciting spoken histories about the Rupina La, most of the local peoples in Larpak and Barpak villages say that, very long time ago there was a female shepherd named Rupina. She was missing from the region, when she grazed the sheep and the pass name became the Rupina La Pass.

 

The Rupina La Pass trek route is difficult and exciting trekking pass in the Nepal Himalayas region, where less crowed trekkers in this valley, but very beautiful and interesting landscape. This trek is not only geographically spectacular but also culturally and fascinating rich. It offers the outstanding Himalayas scenery of Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Boudha Himal, Ganesh Himal and Annapurna range with lush valleys, Magical landscape, Rocky Mountains, Lakes and Wildlife animals etc.

 

Rupina La Pass trek itinerary start from Gurung and Ghale villages of Barpak in Gorkha District and walking along the Darundi Khola, it’s located in the central of Nepal Himalayas region. This journey is a charming trek in the Himalayas. Very long time ago, this trek route was a summer trade route between Tibet and Nepal. Rupina La pass is not a very high elevation; it is just around 4600meters from the sea level, through cross it in winter can be a difficulty. Best season to trek in between April, May and until May and September, October and November.

 

Rupina La Pass Trek Route:

 

This journey, we drive from Kathmandu to Barpak is an attractive Ghale and Gurung original peoples. So many of this village has served in the British Army Gorkha Regiment, known as the Gorkhas, for marvelous Himalayas views, we trek to Darche from there. We have to reach the viewpoint; we walk the ridge and take pleasure in views to reach the base camp above the tree line, we trek continue to along the magnificent mountains to glacial ice.

As we take in the remarkable mountains scenery, our teams set up tents for your accommodation and prepare typical local meals. Crossing the Rupina La pass is more challenging and rewarding trek, as we trek continue toward Buddha Himal Base Camp, we come upon more difficulty, we cross the delightful glaciers of Rani Pokhari and stunning mountains views.  

 

Camping trek to Rupina La:

 

We enjoying with the wilderness for several days, we trek continue to reach Nyak; a village far above the Budi Gandaki river valley. The trekking trail goes to downhill on this Rupina La pass trek is in insignificant situation. It will be more an exciting and once you join the main manaslu trek trail you become the easier.
