An early morning, we flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which takes around 35 minutes, than after we start our journey, towards Chutanga village, is settlement of the Sherpa, where we will stay at there, we pass the delightful villages into the lush forest of pines and Rhododendron along with beautiful mountains views. We reached to Chutanga village, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After enjoy the breakfast, we leave the village for Thuli Kharka, which will takes around 5 to 6 hours. The 1st part of the trek is quite easy as we start the hike today, in a few hours. Then after we ascending until the pass of Zatrawala pass (4600meters/15,091ft). From the top of Zatrawala, if the sky are blue than, we will able to see the magnificent views of Kongdi Peak, Karyolang, Number Himal, after we enjoyed with views, we trek descending to Thuli Kharka, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Early morning, we will have breakfast, after then we start our trek, the trails bring you uphill and downhill valley. We pass the Chterwa, Tashing Ongma to reach Mosom Kharka. Today we will have lunch break in Tashing Ongma, after then we trek continue ascending to Kothe, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Today will be more fantastic day, after the breakfast, we start our trek, walking along the ridge side of Hinku Valley in the shadow of Mera Peak. We stop lunch break at Gondishunga, the summer herder’s settlement on the follow the west bank of the Hinku valley and we pass the ancient Buddhist monatery, where we can find Mera Peak scripted in rock along with its trail to reach Mera. Reached to Thanknak, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After we enjoyed with delicious breakfast, we start our trek from Thaknak to Khare, the 1st part of the slightly ascending for ½ an hour to Dig Kharka. On the way, the views are fabulous. However, during the day, we can spectacular views of Charpate and many more other surrounding peaks. From the Dig Kharka, the trail continue goes uphill to Khare , where we stay to acclimate ourselves before future for our final destination to the summit, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Today is rest day, after having delicious breakfast, we start our climbing training. Your professional Sherpa climbing guide will teach you some idea about the how to climbing the peak, how to use the climbing equipment safety belts, and many more items etc.

After the delicious breakfast, we start walking all the way through the most exciting landscapes of the Himalayas to Mera Base Camp, crossing the Himalayan Glaciers with the best view of Mera Peak. We walk downhill to reach Mera Base Camp.

From the Base camp of Mera, we start climbing ascending towards high camp where we stay overnight at on the Tent. Along the way, we take pleasure in some of the highest mountains views of Mount Everest 8,848m, and all Himalayas ranges. Then after we continue to High camp situated at an elevation of 5800 meters, from there, we will enjoy delightful mountains with sunrise and sunset views.

Today is more exciting and hard day as well, we will take breakfast early in the morning, after then, we start our climbing at around 3:00 Am. It will be very cold, and through the climbing you get beautiful Himalayas Glacier. After cross the Glacier, we have to be careful, it is technical climbing, we must to use fixed rope and reach to the Top, On the Summit, and we can see the wonderful views of Everest, Makalu, Nupste, kanchanjunga and many more peaks ranges with Sunrise view, then we back down to Khare, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After the breakfast, trek from Khare to Kothe, we use same trail return. While we reach to kothe, we make celebrate our successful of Mera peak climbing and, we will stay overnight at lodge.

After the breakfast, we start our trek from Kothe to Thuli kharka. We climb uphill and downhill and then, we cross the Hinkhu Khola. The trekking trail takes the right side, way to pass the Buddhist Chorten and reach to Thuli kharka, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

After the breakfast, we start our trek from Thuli kharka to Lukla. Today will be more fun and exciting day, we cross the Zatrwa La Pass at 4600meters. After the Zatrawa La pass, we trek descending to Lukla village, we will stay overnight at Lodge.

Useful Information

Weather Forecast during the Mera Peak Climbing

During the peak climbing, your Sherpa guide will have access to recent weather conditions. Any questions can be directed to HLG. We are here to make sure you are well-equipped and prepared for this unbelievable adventure.

Accommodations and Meals:

The accommodations and meals during the peak climbing, you will get a comfortable Guest House run by Sherpa people. The Guest House has a central shared area with a stove. The bedrooms are unheated with two beds and blankets, mattresses, and pillows. The sleeping bag must take from Kathmandu. (It will be managed; by the company). The tea houses generally provide hot showers as per demand. Which are powered; by Gas or fire. Most of the lodges have buckets showers rather than flush.  

Tents: 

Our expert Sherpa guide will manage the two nights of camping at Mera Base Camp and High Camp. We stay in Tents during the climbing preparation.

Foods:

Foods on the journey are very suitable and of good quality. They can be found in a combination of Nepali and Western food throughout the trip. Also, some of the most famous foods of Dal Bhat power 24 Hours ( which is typical Nepalese food) or you get Noodles, Spaghetti, Soups, Pizza, MO: MO, Thukpa, fried rice, Chips, bread & omelets are food in lower places, At the High Camp and Mera Base Camp. We will manage the Basic items and foods while staying in Tents.
